The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Every Home Global Concern (operating as Every Home for Christ) was held November 23 at which the two new board members were appointed.
Jae Yang, a not-for-profit and charity legal specialist, was unanimously voted onto the board and has accepted the role of Secretary, taking over from Davidson James, who has served as Secretary for many years. Our heartfelt appreciation for Davidson’s dedicated commitment was acknowledged by all the board members.

Jae is a specialist legal advisor whose technical expertise in law relating to tax, charity and not-for-profit organizations has been recognized by the ‘for-purpose’ sector, the legal profession (e.g., listed by Chambers and Partners as an expert) and various Australian government regulators, including the Australian Taxation Office, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and the Commonwealth Treasury. Prior to establishing Charitas Law, he spent nearly 14 years at a leading charity and not-for-profit specialist law firm based in Sydney and Melbourne, EHC Appoints New Board Members where he led the firm’s Charity & Tax team as a Partner for five years.

Jae holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Theology from Wesley Institute (now Excelsia College) and a Master of Arts from the University of Queensland. Jae assisted Every Home for Christ in it’s application for Deductible Gift Receipt(DGR) status.

Also re-elected to the board were:
• Rev. Alex Thomas – Chairman
• D’Arcy Watson – Vice-Chairman
• Richard Snellenburg – Treasurer
• Davidson James – Director
• Sue Wallace – Director
• Setotaw Befekadu – Director

In keeping with our commitment to growing the next generation of disciples, we are pleased to also announce that Jemima Ayoub has also been appointed as an observer on the EHC Board for six months with a permanent board role to be considered after her observer status. As our youth ambassador, along with Leon Karatzis, Every Home for Christ will be looking to engage with churches across Australia, so please contact us if we can speak at your church or event in 2025.
