It was so pleasing to have visited Mudgee and Orange in central NSW where I met with various pastors and church leaders. The purpose of the visit was to continue to ensure that we spread the gospel to everyone, everywhere and every generation. In this regard, a series of School of Prayer workshops and meetings is being organised in both Mudgee and Orange, so please watch out for further details if you live in or around those regional centres. Mudgee is a charming town situated approximately 261 km north-west of Sydney and covers an area of approximately 2,963 square kilometres.
It is the largest town in the Mid-Western Regional Council. Orange on the other hand is a city in the Central Tablelands region of NSW at an altitude of 862 metres (2,828 ft) which made my visit a ‘chilling’ event. With an urban population of 41,920 at the 2021 Census, it is a significant regional centre for spreading the Good News. At both locations I met with various pastors from various denominations and I am pleased to advise that a regional School of Prayer is in the planning stage to be held at St John the Baptist Mudgee Anglican church.
I wish to thank the support shown by Rev Tim St Quintin for his generosity and time to chat with me about his work and church. Likewise, plans are being looked at to hold a similar event at Holy Trinity Anglican Church Orange and both events are in the process of being confirmed.
I also wish to thank local parishioner Paul Meeth for meeting me at the church book fair and chat about the diocese of Bathurst. I would be keen to touch base with our Mudgee and Orange supporters.
