Lanka Hope Partners (LHP) is taking a bold step toward transforming young lives by launching an educational initiative in Norton Bridge. This project aims to provide quality education for underprivileged children in tea plantation communities, where access to proper schooling is often limited.
In the first phase, we are establishing a preschool to give young children a strong academic foundation, along with an afterschool tuition program to support students in their studies. Many children in these communities struggle due to a lack of educational resources and guidance. Our goal is to bridge this gap, ensuring that they receive structured learning, mentorship and a nurturing environment.
Beyond academics, this initiative will also focus on character development and spiritual growth, shaping these children into responsible and compassionate individuals. Through education, encouragement and faith-based guidance, we hope to rescue and transform them to break free from the cycle of poverty.
We are also excited about Rev. Greg’s upcoming visit, which will be a great encouragement as we take these crucial first steps. His presence will strengthen our efforts and help us prepare for the journey ahead.
