Darcy Watson

MEd in Education for Special Needs. After Theological studies overseas in the United Kingdom and the USA, D’Arcy pastored churches in Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia and Northern Territory and is now attending Victoria Point Baptist Church in Queensland. D’Arcy is recently retired from teaching children with mild intellectual disabilities at Kogarah High School, Sydney. 

Jae Yang

Director

Jae is a specialist legal advisor whose technical expertise in law relating to tax, charity and not-for-profit has been recognised by the ‘for-purpose’ sector, legal profession (e.g. listed by Chambers and Partners as an expert) and various Australian government regulators (e.g. Australian Taxation Office, Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and the Commonwealth Treasury). Prior to establishing Charitas Law, he spent close to 14 years in a leading charity and not-for-profit specialist law firm based in Sydney and Melbourne and led the firm’s Charity & Tax team as a Partner for 5 years. Jae holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Theology from Wesley Institute (now Excelsia College) and a Master of Arts from the University of Queensland.

Jae is a specialist legal practitioner for the ‘For Purpose’ sector and is listed by Chambers and Partners as a ranked expert lawyer in the ‘Charities’ area.

Sue Wallace

Sue is committed Christian who joined the Board in 2023. She worships in her local church in the southern suburbs of Sydney and is an advocate for more prayer.
