Celebrating 50 Years of Faithful Ministry – Easter 2025 Message
On April 16th, 1975, my predecessor Eric Leach wrote a note that still echoes with power today:
“Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Please pray for our continued growth.”
These words, spoken in faith and conviction, laid the foundation for what would become a half-century of unwavering ministry. Today, in 2025, we carry this legacy forward with gratitude and renewed commitment.
A Season of Renewal and Hope
Dear sisters and brothers in the Crucified and Risen Lord,
As we approach Easter, the most triumphant season in the Christian calendar, may the joy of Christ’s resurrection fill your hearts and renew your hope. Easter reminds us of the victory we share in Christ and reinvigorates our mission to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
This season, may you feel the peace, love, and renewal that only our risen Saviour can bring.
Carrying Christ to Every Home
In line with our mission, Every Home for Christ will be distributing 30,000 credit-sized Easter message cards to churches across Australia. These cards are designed to be shared within parishes, extending the message of resurrection and hope to every heart and home.
“Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said.”
— Matthew 28:5-6
We invite you to join your local church for Easter services this year. He is waiting for you.
Celebrating Our Golden Anniversary
This Easter also marks a momentous occasion: the 50th Anniversary of our ministry. Founded on April 16, 1975, under the name World Literature Crusade, our organisation began with a mission to share the Christian message worldwide through the printed word. In 1990, we became Every Home for Christ Limited, aligning with our global family and clarifying our identity.
Now, after five decades of faithful service, we look back in gratitude and ahead in faith. To celebrate, we’re hosting a special 50th Anniversary Lunch, and you are warmly invited to join us.
In Scripture, gold (Hebrew: zahab) is often a symbol of God’s holiness and purity. Just as gold is refined through fire, so too have we grown and been purified through the years—spiritually and as a ministry.
Looking Forward
As I reflect on Eric Leach’s words and the journey we’ve walked, I am humbled to carry his vision forward. May the next 50 years be marked with even greater fruitfulness and impact for the Kingdom.
On behalf of the Board and Staff at Every Home for Christ, I joyfully extend the traditional Easter greeting:
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!
In Christ’s love,
Greg Bondar

🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Ministry: Every Home Australia
It is with deep honour and joy that we extend heartfelt congratulations from the entire global Every Home fellowship to Every Home Australia on reaching a truly momentous milestone—50 years of ministry.
A Legacy of Faithfulness
Five decades ago, the world looked very different. So did Australia—and so did this ministry. But through the changing tides of time, Every Home Australia has stood firm, evolving with vision and purpose to reach new generations with the message of Christ, which never grows old.
From its beginnings under the faithful leadership of Eric Leach and its committed Board, this ministry has carried the love of Jesus into communities across the nation. Marked by hope and compassion, Every Home Australia’s journey is a testament to God’s sustaining grace.
“Every Home Australia has adapted and evolved, following the leading of Christ in dynamic ways to reach new generations of people with an eternally relevant message.”
A Global Inspiration
Every Home for Christ now spans 167 nations, and in that vast network, Every Home Australia shines as an exemplary part of our global community. Its expression of our shared vision—to carry Christ to everyone, everywhere, in every generation—continues to inspire leaders and teams around the world.
Fuelled by Fellowship and Faith
This ministry would not be where it is today without the faithful support of donors, churches, and partners who sacrificially give to see the Gospel spread across Australia and beyond. Your prayers, generosity, and belief in this mission are a beacon of light to our entire international fellowship.
“This, too, is a gift and a beacon of light to the global ministry.”
Looking Ahead: The Next 50 Years
As we mark this Golden Jubilee, our eyes are also on the future. With Greg Bondar’s capable leadership, the foundation has already been laid for continued fruitfulness in the decades ahead. We pray that the love of Christ will multiply in profound and unexpected ways across Australia, touching lives, transforming communities, and glorifying God.
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)
With Gratitude and Expectation
On behalf of Every Home for Christ International, including our executive leadership team and board of directors, we celebrate with you, rejoice over these past 50 years, and eagerly anticipate what lies ahead.
For everyone, everywhere,

Easter Reflections from the UK: A Family Celebration of Life, Hope & Compassion
Easter has always been a special time of celebration in our home. It holds a deeply personal meaning for us—15 years ago, our youngest daughter was born in the early hours of Easter Sunday. That unforgettable moment forever linked this sacred season to a profound sense of joy and gratitude in our family’s story.
Now, as parents to two wonderful teenage daughters, Ava (17) and Harper (14), we’ve seen the childhood traditions—chocolate eggs, Easter hunts, and bunny ears—gradually give way to quieter, more meaningful moments. Still, each year we come together around the table to share a meal, reflect, and celebrate life. And in doing so, Easter remains a beautiful anchor in our lives.
More Than Chocolate: Easter as Compassion in Action
While the excitement of Easter eggs may have dimmed, the light of Easter’s true meaning shines brighter than ever in our home. We try to teach our girls that this season isn’t just about what’s on the surface—it’s about what we give, how we serve, and who we become.
Personally, I’ve found immense joy in serving in our local community. Whether it’s helping those in need or simply being present for someone going through a tough time, Easter reminds me that compassion is at the heart of the Gospel. That’s why it’s been such a privilege to see Ava following in my footsteps, volunteering with a local charity and helping feed the vulnerable.
“Easter isn’t just about celebration—it’s about transformation. It’s a time for hope, gratitude, and reaching out in love.”
United in Spirit: Greetings from the UK
As part of the Every Home for Christ worldwide family, we’re reminded that Easter is celebrated across the globe—in different languages, customs, and traditions—but always with the same message of hope.
From our home in the United Kingdom, we send heartfelt Easter greetings to families everywhere. May this Easter be for you what it is for us:
A season of reflection, a reminder of all we’ve been given, and a call to live lives of compassion and love.
Happy Easter!

How History Proves Jesus Rose from the Dead
Easter is not just a symbol of renewal—it’s the celebration of the most extraordinary event in human history: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. While some dismiss it as myth or legend, the truth is, there is more historical evidence for Jesus’ resurrection than almost any other ancient event.
📜 Eyewitness Testimony Backed by History
The resurrection of Jesus isn’t just a matter of faith—it’s also grounded in historical fact.
-
Non-Christian historians like Tacitus, Josephus, and Pliny the Younger all confirmed that Jesus lived, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, and had a significant following—even after His death.
-
Despite persecution, His followers never abandoned their belief that He rose from the dead.
📚 The New Testament: A Reliable Historical Record
The New Testament has over 5,800 early manuscripts, making it by far the most well-attested document in antiquity—outnumbering works by Homer, Plato, and Caesar.
If historians trust ancient texts with only a few copies, the reliability of the New Testament is undeniable.
🏺 Archaeological Support
Archaeology continues to confirm details of the Gospel accounts:
-
The Pilate Stone verifies the existence of the Roman governor who sentenced Jesus.
-
A burial box (ossuary) inscribed with the name Caiaphas matches the high priest who condemned Him.
-
Remains of a crucified man discovered in Jerusalem prove that crucifixion occurred exactly as described in Scripture.
🔥 The Power of Transformed Lives
Perhaps the greatest evidence of all? The disciples themselves.
-
These once-fearful men hid after Jesus’ death.
-
But after witnessing the risen Christ, they boldly preached His resurrection, facing beatings, imprisonment, and execution.
-
Not one of them recanted their testimony—even under torture.
People will die for what they believe is true,
but no one dies for what they know is a lie.
And yet, instead of fading into obscurity, their message spread like wildfire.
🌍 A Movement Without Power That Changed the World
Within a few short decades:
-
The resurrection message overtook Jerusalem, reached Rome, and swept across the entire Roman Empire.
-
This movement grew without military force, political influence, or financial wealth.
No other movement in history has ever spread so quickly and powerfully without coercion.
✅ The Evidence Is Clear
Jesus didn’t just live and die.
He rose.
This Easter, as we reflect on the empty tomb, may we be reminded:
Our faith is not blind—it’s grounded in truth, history, and hope.
