A New Year of Hope and Faith

Every Home for Christ will be celebrating its 50th year of carrying Christ to every home in Australia and New Zealand.

So, as we step into the new year, we are reminded of the timeless wisdom found in the Scriptures: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). This verse encapsulates the spirit with which we enter this new year, filled with hope, faith and gratitude for the journey ahead in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt 28:19)

The past year has been a testament to the incredible power of our faith and the unwavering support shown to EHC. Your generosity has enabled us to extend our reach, touch more lives and spread the message of Christ’s love and salvation both here and globally. As we reflect on the milestones we’ve achieved together, we are filled with profound gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose in striving to achieve our OIKOS objective to carrying Christ to everyone, everywhere and every generation.

In the coming year, we are committed to deepening our impact and expanding our mission. We are inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” This call to action motivates us to continue our work with even greater fervour, knowing that through our collective efforts, we can bring light to those in darkness and hope to the hopeless.

Your contributions have been instrumental in supporting our various programs, from feeding the hungry and providing shelter to the homeless, to offering educational opportunities and spiritual guidance. Each act of kindness, each donation, no matter the size, has made a significant difference. As we move forward, we invite you to continue partnering with us in this divine mission. The new year presents us with fresh opportunities to serve and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our mission work.

We are reminded of the Apostle Paul’s words in Galatians 6:9: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This encouragement is a beacon of hope, urging us to persevere in our efforts and to trust in God’s perfect timing.

As we start the new year, we pray for God’s blessings upon you and your loved ones. May He grant you peace joy, and prosperity in the year ahead. Together, let us continue to build a biblical world that reflects His love and grace.
