Role Description

This is a part-time three days-a-week on-site role as Ministry Director located in Penshurst, NSW at Every Home for Christ. The Ministry Director will be responsible for implementing strategies for reaching every home in Australia with the gospel, utilizing local supporters to share the gospel literature and the message of Jesus. The role is required to disciple new believers and channel them into local churches or establish Christ Groups if needed. The role would suit a bible college graduate, an existing pastor wishing to make a change or a semi-retired pastor. Lay Ministers/Pastors are also encouraged to apply.

Reporting

The Ministry Director will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and supporting the General Manager with international aid projects.

Compensation

Salary and Benefits to be negotiated.

Qualifications

• A committed Christian
• Strong Biblical Communication skills
• Experience in Church Ministry and Spiritual Direction
• Familiarity with the structure of Churches in Australia
• Knowledge of the Bible and Discipleship principles
• Passion for sharing the message of Jesus
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Understanding of different denominations, cultures and languages
• Undertaking deputations and church visits
